Looks so tranquil.

If the front of the structure was not truly vertical, leave it, but I would try rotating the image cc to true vertical edges. Usually a strong image results.
Also something else I have learned, despite the really warm golden hour lighting, the view loses some of the context and typically prefers cooling the coloring more toward (but not fully) neutral white balance.

It's a male Chaffinch, Fringilla coelebs. Great detail on these.

I've been experimenting with using manual for flight shots. A combination of my preferred aperture / shutter speed and auto ISO gives good results and now I have programmed the SET button to allow me to dial in exposure compensation without taking my eye off the viewfinder. This camera allows for a lot of personalisation.

That's exactly what I have set up for shooting sports.

Had to lay the 7Dii down for a bit, some macro got in the way via the 70D and 6D and we spent some time digging a big hole to fill with concrete for an astro project but I did grab the 7Dii yesterday as the clouds rolled in to snap this winter visitor who has returned-

After I've had some trouble getting the AF on my 7D2 to work as I would expect, it seems Canon has fixed it.
They said that nothing was wrong, but it focuses much better after I got it back. Maybe it's just placebo... I don't know. Most important is - I'm happy now :)

Here are some pictures of a little foamy RC model.

The 7D2 seems to be a pretty good camera for cityscapes too. Budapest has some pretty buildings.

which is better for sports low light?
7d2 $1700 1d4 $1600 5d3 $2500
I got a guy who wants to sell his 1d4

I use all 3 bodies for football (day time fortunately:-) and it depends what lens I am using. If I use the 500 (now sold), then it would be either the 5D3 or 1D4 (7D was way too long with the crop factor). If I used the 300, it would be either the 1D4 or 7D2; the 5D3 would be too short and require heavy crops or you to be standing right next players and all the other distractions on the sideline (I like to keep away from that stuff).

Although, the 5D3 is slower, it captures some beautiful images, plus you just have to know the action and time the shots. The 1D4 is just sweet all around. The 7D2 is new and I only used in a couple of late season playoff games (will get a better work out this season). I will only use the 7D2 with the 300 2.8 though and will try the 5D3 with the 600. Note: I think if you use a FF body for football, you need at least a 400mm lens (my opinion only from my experience).

Noticed the common denominator in both scenarios.
