well I am going on holiday from the end of today, no work for the next 3 weeks and having a trip to Melbourne. Going to be taking the 6D with the 17-40 and 24-105 so I might come back with some shots.

I'm going to look at selling my 50mm 1.4 and the 100mm macro 2.8 (non L) as I want to get a macro lens with IS.

How much for those two?

$375 for the 50mm
&
$500 for the 100 Macro

I have sent the macro away to get the mould removed. It's being sent to canon so it should be good as new I'm selling the 50mm because I would rather have the 35mm range and I have never used it.

I'm coming back from OZ on the 20th.

I have my sigma 10-20 on trademe, i have just re-listed it and both times ive asked $600R/$650BN.
Someone asked if i would take $550, am i asking to much or is this something that will take time to sell?

for 2nd hand gear I look at the pricespy to see what the cheapest price can be had for that item and then I look at trademe for what seems to be the going price.

that lens listed on pricespy is starting from 489.00 (http://pricespy.co.nz/​product.php?p=31994) and trademe is around the 450 mark. Auckland Camera centre has the lens for $548

I don't sell lenses that often. But if it always comes down to how quickly you want to sell the item. NZ is a small market so if your happy to wait but if you got someone interested at a reasonable offer then to me it's a no brainier.

kiwichris, looks like im not asking much less than new from them and they have free shipping.

So maybe $550 is a good price

Still seriously unconvinced any filter system will work at 11mm with the canon.

Yea well they would want to make it work or people wouldn't buy it.

I'm sure the price isn't cheap.
