I can't imagine any way this shot could be improved. Absolutely awesome.

I was just going through my test shots. I don't think my 1.4 is going to need high values but it looks like it needs a tweak.

Branch in the way but it was my best hand held and I was just goofing around. Focus point on the eye.

I think he was in a mood for a smorgasbord. I am not familiar with bird behavior, but before seeing this, I would have guessed they eat them as they find them.

Most likely the Robin is taking these to the babies.

This is just a personal thing and I'm not trying start an MFA discussion but if I were getting +15 my camera or lens it would be in a box on it's way to Canon. In this case it looks like you are using a previously tried and true lens? I have had 2 Canon service reps tell me those types of numbers are out too much.

That is interesting. I have been spending some time researching MFA and found this to document very interesting and close to what I do. Notice what the author says about results. Page 1, 4th paragraph, last sentence. This of course all depends on the camera and lens calibration and how close or far apart they are from each other.

http://www.learn.usa.canon.com …oadjustment_article.shtml (external link)

If the adjustment is with a 2x TC this might not be that surprising. If it's the bare lens them maybe.

Edit: I see you and others have made similar comments.
