Thanks! I'll try it when I have a block of time. It might still not give the desired result. My primitive program has tools for cutting out an object from its background. The difficulty is that with a small screen and a touchpad it's hard to move the cursor precisely enough along an outline.

From version 1.33 (installed today), you can upload gear images directly on each gear page, like http://photography-on-the.net/forum/gearinde​x.php?id=520, the link to upload is under the images (or image placeholder). Thank you all!
