At one of my usual eagle spots, the osprey moved in for the night. It was early evening, around 7 pm and relatively clear. There were three osprey fishing....two were quite successful, while this one laid back and waited for just the right fish to come along.

Amazing sequence! So cool that they can pull themselves plus a fish out of the water like that.

Well done on the lighting and nice set.

Thanks Robert. I didn't have much to do with the light....nature was cooperating last night :)

I am so jealous! I have never been in a place where I have actually seen the Osprey fishing.

Great captures!

Good ones, Ian. Osprey are found east, west, and south of us, but they are rare in our county for whatever reason. Good for you!

Amazing series, very well done!

Thanks kindly Jason, Paul, Al, Bret and Dave. This was admitedly an unusual evening with three or four of them fishing at once. But I hope it happens again...it was hard to decide which one to point the camera at, only to hear a mighty "Splash" not far away.
