This was the only red fox kit to stay above ground when I was there today. I saw 2 more but they just popped their heads up and then went back into the den.

Thanks very much. Yes, they are kind of accustomed to me now. But still any sudden or unexpected moves on my part and he heads underground lickity split.

That is one very relaxed looking fox! Also enjoyed looking at the large family group in another thread, you and Pondrader have got some really great images with your local foxes and I'm enjoying watching them mature through the summer. Thanks for posting! John
