Awesome work. You did a great job balancing the exposures properly. The only thing that is off is the reflection in the water in #1 which would be pretty difficult to fix.

Canon 5D3, Canon XTI (IR converted), 24-70 f2.8L, 16-35 f4L, 50 1.4, 70-200 f2.8L, 100 2.8 macro, 430 ex & 580 exII speedlights.

Thanks BamPhoto. Yes, I've posted in that thread many times, but the focus on that thread is the Milky Way. Landscape photography is about shooting nature or the world around you, so night landscapes (to me) is doing so at night. It certainly could include the Milky Way but is not limited to doing so and certainly is not a shot of just the Milky Way which is abundant in that thread. Case in point: two of the three shots I posted are not appropriate to that thread.

There are many night related threads on POTN, but I couldn't find one dedicated to night landscapes. Since there are many threads dedicated to specific aspects of photography, I'm hoping others feel that one dedicated to night landscapes is desirable.

Hi Pete. These are pretty good Milky Way shots, but because the fore ground is black they're not what I consider night landscapes. Do you have any night shots where the ground is well lit?

Somewhere I saw you're in/near the Denver Metro area? We should hook up some time and shoot something.
