I was waiting for eagles and these gals dropped by.....I had the wrong extender on though.

What are they doing? An aerial dance? Is the beak-to-beak action in #2 typical of kingfishers?

I have never seen a live KF but guessing they're pretty darn quick! If so, then getting 2 in the shot has to be, like, wow! Again and again. You continue to amaze, Ian. Very well done, sir!

Nice series! I went looking for eagles and Osprey today too, and saw two kingfishers fighting over a perch along the river.
