New toy, huh? :)

That 11-24 is something else. Isn't it?

Hehe, not that new. I picked it up back in March or April. Nice piece of glass, but rather limited in its application. Then again, if I was independently wealthy and I can just travel and take photos all the time... I guess I would be shooting with it much more often.

Life fail.

That is really, really spectacular!
I'm going to nominate it for the POTN "Best Of" award.

Also, I kind of like the foreground in the other image ;-)a

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Thanks! I just happened to be there testing out a new tripod and the sky lights up. And yes, I like the second image's foreground too! :p

Seriously , was pure luck. But so much of this hobby depends on it.

Just trying out a new travel tripod.

Julian, you need to shoot Manhattan Beach. Not as family friendly, but it's great.

Haha, next time I find myself free from kids, I'll see if I can make it up there to shoot.
