Grandma bought her some cute high-top sneakers and a colorful sweater from Old Navy so she was modeling them today!

These are exceptional. If I owned these, I would solicit Old Navy's Creative Department. Is Kaelynn doing modeling beside this thread here? If not she should with that hair and those eyes- so adorable and wholesome.

haha she "sorta" poses for me... I bribe her with candy... she knows that every time I photograph her she will get candy to the point she asks me to photograph her now... she sees me looking at poses on pinterest and takes interest in trying to duplicate them however she doesn't hold them for long and for whatever reason defiantly doesn't look at me or smile when I ask her to and if she does it's just for like a second and she always breaks pose to try and run over and see the picture I just took instead of letting me take multiple photos... soooo my results look better than it actually was to take, lol... just takes a lot of patience and I know she is 3 so I don't want to punish her when she doesn't listen... so she still gets candy no matter what but the more she listens the more candy she gets

Sounds just like my 3 year old! She was a much better "poser" when she was 1 to early 2 years old!

These are just my thoughts, this is a very nice image, and everyone processes differently.

1. I think the skin is a little over done, she's gone to Barbie land, in my opinion, which may mean nothing if that is how you like them. Personally, I'd dial it back to 50 percent and adjust to taste.

2. her chest needs to be a smidge darker, and I'd enhance that tattoo down there as I think it adds to the portrait

3. I'd have backed up or cropped a smidge looser, leaving room above her head and below her fingertips.

You are right on the catchlights, this is where a reflector, even if it didn't add much to the exposure on the face, may have added an attractive sparkle.

These are all photographer nits.. other humans will love it as is. The colors are to die for, really nice pallet.

How would you go about making the tattoo/henna stand out? I think I painted in some clarity and it still needs more punch
