Yep that was right after he turned the corner. I was at the back corner of the endzone and he was heading right at me.

Impressive mount of light. Probably a good 2 stops more than our field.

Last pic from Costa Rica, never thought I'd see one of these--it's no owl but for this one I'll make an exception :)

Stsva thanks :)
We used local guides in each area of the country we visited, some of the critters like the Brown Eyelash Viper we would never
have found, but I'm proud to say I found the hawk-eagle on my own!

It's the law. If a duck swims by, you have to photograph it.

Yesterday i went out so i could try the AIServo with Spot Mettering (hardly ever use SpotM.). Can't say i'm disapointed with the results. Not very used to BIF either.

So with spotmettering, aiservo and single point focus at 600mm i guess it turn out not so bad... next time i'll try expanded or zone!

It was at the end of the day and starting to get very cloudy, no sun at all.

She was probably 50-60 meters away from me.

UPS just dropped off my new 7D2 - looking forward to joining this gang as I upgrade from my old 7D.

The first picture taken was assigned the filename CS7A1735, this seems a little odd. I would expect it to be CS7A0001, wouldn't I? Camera purchased from authorized retailer as new in box, USA model. Camera appears completely clean with no sign of handling anywhere.

Any input appreciated.....
