Will thanks.
We came here for the specific hope of catching an eagle catching a fish. So far I've got a couple but most 'fishing' has been done outside my focal length range....today was crap sky on top of distance but this one from yesterday is semi decent I think. Tomorrow is rain all day but Monday morning should be sunny-

I have just picked up a refurbished 7DII. Quiet little Canon.

Canons to the left, Canons to the right,
We hold our L glass toward the light,
Digitizing in a snap reflective glory
That will forever tell our imaged story.

The 7D2 is like the old Teddy Roosevelt quote - "Speak softly but carry a big stick" - in this case, shoot softly but with a lot of punch. :-)

Some Canon stuff and a little bit of Yongnuo.

I just joined this group with a new (refurbished) Canon 7DII.
My dog Babe under mixed lighting. SOOC Jpg and Jpg edited from raw. Color is more realistic in the raw edit.

I have had one for less than two months. It is a formidable weapon.

I still think so too, I do hope Canon tech's down in toronto can reverse the bad tech they applied to my camera. I need my weapon back.

I know mine is not the Battery, and I know the mechanic's of my camera are ( were ) good, because I sent them a samurai sword and they gave me back a butter knife. I use to call mine a Weapon

Heavy crop from a long way off, but always a real thrill to catch a wildcat in its own environment.

 Thanks. I'm down to 1/50s. I don't know if it's possible to ever capture a full-disk blur for chopper main rotors while in flight. I need some superhuman panning skills, which I obviously lack.

Ironic, I was going to go there today, but the weather forecast kept me away. I've gotten lucky on the weekend after Thanksgiving. I am glad I did not take the drive today.

And, you can't take a butter knife to a samurai fight :p.
