Can you ride you e-bike on that trail?
Agreed the busts are cool.
Looks very warm down there....someday I'll need a break from the cold.

Good question. Planning to ride my e-bike on it. Although there is a sign forbidding motorized vehicles on the trail, per GA state law a pedal-assisted e-bike limited to 20 mph is legally regarded as a bike and legal to ride on bike trails.

Hopefully it won't ever be an issue as I have yet to come across anyone else on the trail, but ya never know when you're going to stumble into an overzealous Barney Fife who has never even seen an e-bike let alone have any comprehension of the law regarding them.

Winter temperatures here are definitely nicer than my previous home in the KC area, that's for sure.

^awesome Moon and rig. I've got a 100-400ii and a cTCiii so maybe someday I can follow suit. I haven't pointed anything at the Moon for a long time though I am overdue for an astro shoot any week now, just been traveling a bit much and less than month off to balmy Lock and Dam 14.

Side note, any see this about the possibly to be announced in Jan. 24-70mm f/2.8 G and a 85mm f/1.4 G.
Lanier is a portraitist so I can see why Sony put them in his hands. I have no interest but I think many here do....sorry if this is a repeat:

if that 85mm F1.4G is the same level as the Nikon 85mm F1.4G, that's gonna be awesome. in terms of need, i need that 24-70 f2.8 more.

^ I cannot (so far) get good results with the 100-400ii even with the latest MB FW :(
But that's ok, it does very very well (to my eye) with the 70-400gii or the Tam 150/600.
In fact the Tam really shines on either my A7Rii or the a77ii.....it is a lens that loves light
(and lots of it) though.

Really nice incorporation of the background into your portrait Vinz.
