I'm the proud owner of a new 135mm! Two quick questions though... is it normal for the focus ring to have a bit of play and how firm are the manual focusing stops at the end of the range?

Mine has the tiniest bit of play but seems fine. What stops?

Stops in terms of when you twist the focusing ring and whether there's more of a hard stop or if it just keeps going. Thanks for the responses! It's more of a slight play so it's probably no biggie.

Was asked to shoot a few promo shots for my local coffee bar this morning while I was in trying to cure the effects of last night. Just happened to have my 5D3 with the 135/2 on it.
