Any tethering apps for the Ax series other than the PlayMemoriesApp?

Does anyone know if there are any apps beyond the Sony one for tethering these cameras? I just found out (after tearing down my set up from a shoot) that all the images taken with the app are saved in jpeg. So now I have subject shots that are all jpegs and background shots that are in raw. I really want to go to Sony HQ and kick em all in the nuts right about now! Grrrr! There's got to be something else out there. Anyone?

I watched a video on youtube by miguel quilles and he was tethering to capture 1 pro with a sony a7ii. He wasn't using an app and his raws would be saved in a specified folder and his C1 software was set to auto import images from that folder so he would take a shot and a second later it would auto import into his C1 and appear on his macbook. This allowed tethering with RAW files. I will add though that I haven't tried it myself but thought I'd post to let you know there is a way of tethering and getting raw output (without an app)

You can also do it on lightroom according to this post http://tethertalk.com …atch-folder/#.UVDGhFeS-NU (external link)

Further to the above it looks like you can use the sony remote control app and select raw then make lightroom or capture pro monitor that folder and auto import

Hmmm. I was really hoping there would be an app that would let me use my tablet and still retain raw. I don't even own a laptop anymore as I never used the one I had.

Sorry I didn't realise you were using a tablet. What app were you using that gave you jpeg?

The Sony app. I selected the "remote control" from the application list in the camera and went to town, only to find out that any shot taken from the app is saved as a jpeg in my camera, despite raw being selected. I'd been using DSLRController wirelessly with my Canon bodies and was hoping the Sony app would give me at least some of that functionality, but apparently not.

The only app I am aware of is Capture One. However while t can transfer files to your tablet it still needs to tether to a PC.
