Nice shot, of a nice shot. ;-)a

Your photo reminds me of a challenge my uncle made to me as a kid when he took me shooting once.

We were on an old wooden bridge spanning a creek in East Texas. A favorite shooting spot of the locals. We brought along the S&W .38 Spl Model 10 and the Browning 22 Auto. My uncle's challenge to me was with one shot from the .22, to shoot an empty .38 case off the end of the bridge standing down on the opposite end. I took up the challenge, and with one shot of the Browning 22 Auto, sent the case flying. My uncle's respect for my shooting abilities as a 10 year old, stepped up a notch that day. LOL!!!

Thanks, that one was almost a miss definitely not centered. My nicest is of a 223 case but I cant seem to find it. Also have a nice 762x39 laying around here somewhere.
I have shot hundreds of cases attempting to just enlarge the primer hole, but it always opens up on one side or the other.
Same with soft pennies, just splatters like gum. But a quarter..now that hits like a hammer on a steel table.

Haven't shot a Hi Power since I left the RAF in 93. I much preferred a wheelgun, so shot a 6" 586 with Pachymeres grips as my centerfire pistol until they were removed from us in 97. I shot a Browning Match 150 and a Westlake Britarms in smallbore pistol.

The Hi Power was the issued side arm? Nice. Glad you had the opportunity to shoot the S&W 586/686, these are fantastic wheel guns.

Model 66-3 and a 586-3
