Thanks for the compliment. I used total natural lighting for these. No modifiers whatsoever.

I know. I do lots of actors headshots. And I find natural light gives the best representation of the actor. Once the white balance is set correctly to reflect the light on a particular day the results can be amazing. I use magic lantern to adjust my white balance in increments of 100.
Another thing I do is shoot in the arch of a bridge. This way I have some control how the light falls on the subject.
