Originally intended as a quick gear porn shot (new Arca-Swiss D4 head :-D) to send to a friend via messenger, but then Mommy-O wanted in.

If it's in focus, it's pornography, if it's out of focus, it's art.

Stewie posing for another lens test. This one's much better than the Yonguo 35.

One I took of Taz a few years back. She was sitting in a grey Sterilte tub (like a Rubbermaid tub) and the color was just light grey enough to bounce some of the daylight that was behind her back into her face. I love backlit photos. I intentionally pushed the contrast pretty hard - she's a red tabby.

Fabulous! I'm a big fan of backlighting as well.

Thanks! I love backlighting too, and I'm going to pay more attention to finding backlit scenarios when I'm out hiking, etc.
