Wow thanks thats quite a lot to take in, talk about information overload. Im going to have to let that sink in a little at a time. Seems like Cannon rules the macro world?

Great first attempts, Brian's hints are the path to great Macro photography. you don't need to have canon gear for macro, just a good understanding of light and DOF.
