Spotted what I thought was a shedded skin or something flipping around in the breeze but it turned out to be a very small spiderling - no more than about 1.5mm in size.

Same image used here - the first is uncropped at close to 2:1 and the second a crop of the spiderling itself.

Nipped into the garden tonight and the cold March air on the last day of the month yielded just 3 bugs in the 5 minutes I stayed out there. All on the 70D with the Venus 60mm at f/11, 1/250sec, ISO 100. A female gnat, a moth fly, and yet another of one the Amauobiidae sp spiders that are in various areas of the garden - this one on the bird table.

I'm seeing great shots on this thread daily... as per usual

a few snaps of a male and female Wigeon, "American" I think, but the male is lacking green on his head, perhaps more green in a month or so in breeding season...
