Cute pictures, is your second dog a Bouvier? The nose looks right, but it's hard to tell at that angle. :D

I like the lighting!! It looks like some fringe lighting around his/her ears. That done during the shoot or in post?

That photo was done with one strobe as a key light and a flashgun for the rim light. The rim lighting was tricky, as it was quite narrow and she kept moving.
