Another Safari Thread, Leopard climbing a tree.

This is quite a long series of pics, but I liked the action involved. It was late afternoon & I had kept the iso up high, luckily!

When you think the leopard would weigh 70 kg (>130lbs) & the impala 50 kgs (100 lbs) He does well to take it up there. The next day we went back, he was still there, but suck up the tree as there were hyenas sniffing around the bottom of the tree.

Great series, all good but the first three and the last 2 are very nice indeed.

They are a stunning animal, the strength they have to drag large prey up a tree is very impressive.

Nice..so where was that? I hated how in the Mara if there was a leopard sighting everyone would swarm the poor leopard.

This was in Kruger, near the Olifants Rest Camp.

I know what you mean about Mara, maybe there were just too many tourists.
