The first 9 shots were taken with a full-frame body (6D). The next 60(?), I shot with a T3i.

I love this lens; it's absurdly sharp, and gives beautiful bokeh. Going by the measurements I've seen, its quality is equal to my otus, excluding the fact that it doesn't go to f/1.4.
I generally prefer it for the kind of pictures I take, over my Otus - unless I'm doing portraits. Then, I use my Otus 85 or Art 50.

My only complaint about this lens is the excessively tense focusing ring, I would have Much preferred otus-level tension. The ring's placement is good, however.
My low rating for focus is due to this high tension.

Here are two of my favorites:

Hmmm, mine is buttery smooth, with just about the perfect amount of tension. I wonder whether the tightness you're experiencing might be sample variation or possibly damage from something like being dropped during shipping.

But I agree it's a lovely lens. The ability to shoot backlit scenes without CA is top drawer.

I doubt it's damage, because it's smooth.
Great lens. :)
