My Rovelights and extra batteries tucked in tight to my new Pelican 1560 case. This case practically was MADE for these strobes! Pardon the cell phone photo...

cccc; Can I ask what you're using as a modifier? Either way, are you just trying to cover as much surface area as possible?
Using a regular light stand? (how high?)

Thanks for the post.. it looks great.

No modifier, just the bare reflector set about 9 feet up.

I don't precisely light anything, I take the best parts of each image (about 10 for this shot) and mask them together.

Thanks. I'll have to experiment with that.

You must be a master at PS. Do you recommend any tutorials on thats sort of masking?

(sorry for the derail here)

I assumed the sky was real, but you masked it in?

Yeah, I used a more dramatic sky since the real scene was so bland.

It's really good. I think I have ideas for the lighting, but I've never figured out how to replace the sky effectively.

Are those the 7" or 5" reflectors?

They are the standard reflectors, I think 7 inches.

That exterior shot is perfection! How long did the process take to shoot? (Not edit),

Also, I love that pelican case but it's so hard to want to ditch the rovelight case because it's just so beautiful!

Took around 30 minutes, mostly because I was waiting for the sky to darken. Try it out sometime, not as hard as it looks!
