I like this but would have done one with both eyes showing to compare the two.

Guys. This is my first Portrait Shoot. Your views and comments highly appreciated. Thanks :)

I like the looks of #1, but it could use a little bit more depth of field as the image looks soft.

Poses in general look good. One thing to watch out for is having her hands at the same level.

The thing to look into is controlling the light. The light on her is splotchy and it is hard for me to see past that.
Good things to do do is to use a diffuser over her head (5 in 1 reflector $20), be under a tree, an awning, or even shade from a building.

With limited light modifiers, though you are shooting later in the day, i would shoot even later with the sun lower in the sky.

This is all based on my shooting style. Keep working at it.

I would LOVE to try a lensbaby lens. These portraits are incredibly dreamy

Thanks for that advice, Micro5797.

Must keep it in mind.

Dear Micro. Thanks for the comments and tips. I will definitely think about those in my next shoot. :-)

Yeah they are really nice, a bit pricey but worth it if you shoot a lot of portraits.
