Well I can see that since these are not stellar images but I promise they are Bluebirds :)

Cool shots.

The birds look more like Scrub Jays to me though.

Cheers.

MMMmmmmm, I dunno, I'd go with Female Bluebird I think. ?

I don't want to start an argument, really, but Blue Jays have what I call a "spoiler" similar to the Cardinal, whereas the Scrub Jays have a more "Hercule Poirot" like hair cut.

I am not an expert either way though....so never mind me ....

Cheers.

Let's argue, why not :) As long as it's with love hehe.
I know Blue-J's-

And I know Scrub J's-

And I know what Eastern Bluebirds are supposed to look like-

So I promise the two birds flying are Bluebirds :)
Forgot the most important part, the Bluebird pictured on the perch is the same one imaged flying. They
both live in the backyard.

Your bird in the post in question is indeed an Eastern bluebird.

I heard the typical sound of a swan getting started and by the time it appeared from behind some trees I was ready ;-)a

Shot at f/2.8 to keep the shutterspeed up and iso as low as possible.
