Nope, we all tried flipping the front lever both directions, it wasn't working for some reason. I'm not sure what the employee did differently to make it work, and neither was he -?

Got a call from a client to see if I was free to go shooting an ice cave this weekend. It was -2º inside with very little light mostly blue and full of people wearing silver thermal ponchos. Shot the entire inside with the Samyang 8mm Fish and the 16-55. The 16-55 being weather sealed and the 8mm having no electronic parts, not really a problem inside but once I stepped back out I was into the humid mid 20º so instant condensation on everything camera related. It took a while for them to clear so was very glad of having a third Fuji-X camera in the bag so I could continue to shoot outside while waiting for the x-pro2 and x-t1 to de-fog.

The Ice Cave was a popup event with DJ and bar etc... Both cameras behaved well only changed 2 batteries despite it being cold in there & that was nearly 1000 shots, not so bad. These will give you an idea but part of the brief was that it had to look cold.

My bartending friend, Tenzin. Between beers, I asked her to step forward into the the available shaft of light for this shot.

It's taking so much energy to keep me from pulling the trigger on an X-Pro2 right now... holding out for the X-T2, but not even sure I'll like that one more... such a tough choice!

The building next door to our gym had a fire the night before and nobody notified us. So we came to the gym that morning and there was a distinct burning smell that we couldn't source... before we had a chance to call non-emergency services one of the parents called 911  So they came out and told us what happened and since they basically came for no reason they let us take some pictures on their trucks :)

The fascination of the waves spraying over the slip wall was keeping all enthralled, including me, so much so I almost forgot to get a photo.

X-E2 with 55-200 handheld.......

Cropped a bit but considering it's handheld utilizing stabilization from lens....not bad for a 16 "megapickle" camera LOL!!

Off topic.....lately I've been reconsidering on buying the 56 f/1.2 APD. My application with Fuji is still my secondary system. Analyzing my Canon FF with 85Lmk2 f/1.2 I'm definitely holding off in buying the fuji 56mm for now. Even so I do not use my 85L as much as I should.........

I'm having an incredible fun time planning and strategically buying fuji gear to suite my needs. I'll be shooting the Great Canadian VW show (The biggest VW show in Canada)this coming weekend. I'll be bringing my fuji gear along with my Canon gear. I'll test out how well the reasonably priced 55-200 works along side my Canon 70-200 f/2.8IS mk2. I've run out of "G.A.S money) to purchase a fuji 10-24 however my Canon UWA does killer for what I need to do for this auto show.
