Two images of Marsden beach (South Shields, north east England) taken last week using the 24mm ts/e on my 1Dx:

Loving the details on the first one, lots of things to keep the eye interested in the frame.

The Festival in Edinburgh is over, so I can finally leave my flat again:

These are beautiful, Kenny. The star bursts are incredible on this lens. Weren't you risking your life taking the second one from the median?

It never seems risky at the time with shots like these but based on the comments I get, maybe it is?

Just wondering why the traffic on this thread has died down so much? Is it related to the rest of the forum or is it just this thread?

I don't love this but hey oh  (@48mm)

It is odd, isn't it? I don't get it either. That said, I need to up my level of activity here myself. I was going to sell mine since I sold the 5DS R, but lens appears to be working very sharply on my a7R II, so I've decided to keep it. Will be using it much more now.

I wasn't going to post this here...just not that interesting as an image, but I shot this with full up shift of the a7R II and was happy with it on a technical level (sharpness) that it convinced me to keep the lens. The only problem is the adapter is prone to internal reflections from light sources that are just off-frame, so additional care in composing is required with this camera/lens combo.

Great shots as always, Kenny.

I really need to make more use of mine, but having said that, I just opted to leave it home for our current trip. Using this lens also means carrying a tripod. More often than not, I prefer to travel lighter. That's a lame excuse, I know, but it's the truth.-?

David, I think it's beautiful! I'm an architecture lover, but all the same I think it's a fine example of what this lens is capable of.

Mark, you can be forgiven for leaving it at home along with your tripod. I'm the opposite, sometimes when we travel I carry only the 24 and the tripod!

Thanks Jeff!

I'm not one to try to take a landscape photo at mid-day, but the clouds and reflections here were too interesting for me to pass up. :)

I like it David, TBH it is refreshing to see a landscape in normal light.
