I got me an A7 finally and I been messing around with some old Nikon lenses...Got a 28mm 2.8 and an old 50mm 1.4. You got me started man! I'll post some shots here soon.

Thank you! Start shooting 30 minutes before sunset and you can continue to shoot for another 10-15 minutes after the sun has gone over the horizon (like the last image I posted)

I like your other photo more, because this one is showing the back-lit light source behind her head, which obscures the silhouette shape of her head as well as disrupts the contrast. If her head had completely overlapped that light, she's have a perfectly clean and beautiful halo around the silhouette of her head, and no loss of contrast for her face/head.

Yeah I was playing around with placing that all around her head as fine tuning. Im sure I got one with the light directly behind her. Maybe Ill check that. Either way I must have liked this one the best.
