Snap, my very first thought, she looked a bit older. Another great pic though!

I happened to be in a place to shoot some sunset landscapes and I saw a bunch of photographers who brought models with them. I did have my 135mm lens with me but no strobes, no flash, nothing. I just shot a model posing for another guy. No fill lights :)

I know, I know. Not what you'd typically expect to see out from this from this lens. However, I decided to experiment with it and left the 70-200 2.8 at home.

The versatility.

These images were shot at Taft Point in Yosemite. I couldn't pick one as a favorite. I really like both!

Top as well...I have a shot of me standing on that spot...not that kind of killer light though...

Finally adding this lens to my bag, I have rented it for so many gigs in the last few years that I finally had to just buy one...got a great clean used one for a steal, can't wait to put it to good use.

I just got a new battery for my old 1Ds Mark II so i gave it a test run at home just to see how well the new battery performs. Subjects may not be the most interesting but i'll be posting something better soon when i get outdoors. :)

Processing was done with the latest version of DxO Optics Pro.
