Awesome!
Lens is the Deal of the day at Amazon $249.99 for the Canon mount.
https://www.amazon.com ...TF8&qid=1475259953&sr=8-1 (external link)

It's now a sold out deal of the day and has reverted to the $339 price. Even though it still shows $249 - when you put it into your cart the price goes up.

Bummer, I was going to order it when I returned to my evening abode.

Congrats! And welcome to the club!

Thank you! It's killing me because it delivered yesterday but either the charger or battery are no good. Ordered one of each off Amazon, should be here tomorrow. Been shooting HS sports for a year with a 50D and 70-300 non L, making it work, so my new to me 1D Mark IV and 70-200 will be a pleasure to shoot with!

Congrats. That is going to be a serious help in catching the action. You will love it I am sure.

Did you contact Adorama about the battery and/or charger? They'd probably help you out, if the 1DIV you bought from them included them in the package.

Yeah, I sent an email as soon as I realized it on Friday, but haven't heard back yet. I am too inpatient to wait though, lol.

Edit:

It's Sunday and they're technically closed, but I just received an email confirming a new battery and charger are on their way. Love their amazing customer service!

That's awesome! Hopefully, that actually is the problem.

I know exactly what you're talking about, being impatient. That's why I signed up for Amazon Prime.

Great! Adorama is great to work with. One of their rep's is a member here, Helen Oster, and she is amazing at answering questions and helping out. I just bought my 70-200L f/2.8 mark II from them about a month ago.

They've definitely been great to work with and I will be keeping them in mind from now on.
