No foreground interest in this one but it was a really dark sky and really clear. Missed focus slightly but I still like it

There was a black out in my town a few nights back during a storm. I saw a break in the clouds so I braved the winds and went out
to get a couple Milkyway shots. I was pretty surprised when I saw there was a very faint pink glow from the Aurora Australis!

Water was lit using my iPhone flash light, midway after thought.

Shot on my driveway at home in the middle of suburbia about 25kms from Auckland's CBD using my Canon 50mm f1.8

Plenty of street lights around me, so happy with the result.

So many good astro shots in here. I have to get back to shooting again.
Did this a couple of weeks ago. Got both Andromeda and a faint Triangulum.

A tad long on 17mm. 20 secs if I remember correctly.
