How's the coma?
Is it good for night skyscape?

I am trying to find lens to replace Samyang 24/1.4, tried couple copy, all has left right de-focus issue.

Might be a bit dark at F4, but I haven't tried it yet

Cheers, Kevin ;)

There was flare but I was able to clone them out. Flare does show up when I shoot into the sun with this lens :(

Ranger Kevin wrote in post #18144274 (external link)
Again, also a great showcase on how good the coating is on this Lens,
as your image shows no flare even though you were shooting directly against the sun.

EDIT:
Just as an example, here is an IR-Version I did of the third image in #3408 (not 1:1, as it was a crop sensor).
You can see that the coating is clearly optimised for the visible spectrum, as in the IR-Version you can see lots of flaring in the upper left corner and bit further down on the right - Even though the sun was not directly in the frame.

I haven't had the chance to try it out on the night sky.

Used the new merge to HDR feature in Photoshop CC. I like it. A more subtle effect than Photomatix.
