POTN G-series Speed Challenge #609 - Education
_______________
Education – A subject that can have many interpretation, ranging from humans to things and events. Show your most imaginative photo representing the topic.

***************

Results

Thank you all for your entries.

M_Six, All Souls College – A very nice composition, and a historical structure. But if I looked at the picture by itself, it doesn’t tell me it is related to education.

JimAskew, I Know Miss Kathy...I Know! – An oldish classroom setting, and a student. I love the composition and the setting.

teekay, Outdated Education – I’ll have to show this picture to my wife. I am not the only one who keeps old books. DOS!!!, oh wow.

Trumper, Education = learning, ……………. – Out of the box interpretation of education. Clever, and I like it.

Maureen Souza, Reading Grandma's Magazine – Very cute and great lighting; almost no shadows. Maybe a bit underage for the material?

Results …
1st - JimAskew
2nd - Trumper
3rd – teekay

It is all yours, Jim.

Kudos to Jim. I knew that was a home run the second I saw it. Great shot.

Well done to everyone else. On to the next.

Congrats to the winners and yes, I knew Jim's was the big winner right away. My photo is quite old; 12 years old when my then 2 yr old grandson took over my mom's reading spot, glasses & newspaper when she got up up get a drink. He was already reading snippets at age 2 but this he was doing to tease my mom......

We are off to Hawaii this week & gone until the 14th so I will be absent again......

Thanks Sibil for the first place nod and kudos to Trumper and teekay :-). A fun contest Sibil...I enjoyed the challenge very much.

Teekay's book collection cracked me up...I thought I was the only guy left on the plant with DOS and old Excel books :p

My photo is our great grandson taken at Napierville Village in IL. The village is a recreation of post Civil War life in IL. I used a blacksmith photo from there in an earlier contest :-).

I'll have a new contest up later on this evening...I have to deal with "trick or treaters" first

Congratulations to Jim & Trumper, and thanks for the #3 spot, Sibil. One reason there were so few entries was probably that once people had seen Jim's perfect shot, they thought no one had a chance - and they would have been right!;-)a

I hope you are right. I thought I picked a very boring challenge.

Jim, you may be surprised to learn that I still use the old DOS reference occasionally. I write and use some small BAT files as shortcuts on my Win10 desktop and sometimes have to check the book for formatting commands and when DOS commands don't recognize certain file names (e.g. ones with spaces).
