I have a shoot booked for next weekend. I am shooting a maternity shoot for an hour in a hotel room, then going down to shoot an hour or two of the Baby Shower.
Here's my question: She is a VERY dark-skinned mother-to-be. She wants "natural light" photos in the hotel room before the shower begins. I have asked her to send me Pinterest boards on what she wants, no luck. All I know is no lingerie.
I have softboxes including 5'Octa, 2'x3', 3'x4' with grid, 24", 2x 12x55" strips with grids and a 4x6 box.
I plan on using strobes, I feel if someone says "natural light", they don't know how good I can make the strobes look. Plus, it's at 3:30 PM, in a hotel room, in Canada. Not gonna be huge loads of light coming in those there windows. I think that I can use the 4x6' box with no grid for a nice window. Oh yes, using Profoto B1 500's
Any, well....ANY suggestions on lighting?? What should I know about dark-skinned models? I believe she may be Jamaican if any of this helps.
