This shot is awesome. Any chance of getting a few details of your setup, settings & processing?

PS - I can't comment in the G&N section but your photos of your other half are fantastic too. Lucky you having a gorgeous model as your other half.

Hi, thanks! She really is gorgeous, and we work together pretty well.

It was just one speedlite, in a softbox, obviously to the side. Processing was pretty minimal, bit of spot removal, skin softening, darkened the areas I wanted dark etc.

Finally feeling like I'm understanding the "quirks" of the 69" Rotalux.

Thank you. However, I did not serve.
It was gear from a friend and I was just playing the part.
I hope this is not perceived as disrespectful to those that did/do serve.

Not at all. Your gear was pretty sanitary, no rank insignias, unit or military patches. It's like me getting photos in a jet. Am I a pilot? No. Does it offend pilots if I display my photo? Lol, they love flattery and you know what they say about imitation. Hey, how can you tell if someone is a fighter-pilot? They tell you!

A photo from the latest session. Many commented that it looks like a portrait, but it's just a shot from the performance.
