Has anyone tried to put 2 Canon 1D mK IV's with one having a 70-200 2.8 on it and the other with a 24-70 installed. I would like to keep the lens attached if possible. If so is there any room for other stuff. I'm planning to use the TrekPak Divider System.

This should easily be achievable. The one thing to keep an eye on it the professional bodies are just on the upper limit of the height that will fit in a 1510 but they will fit.

While neither of these photos have 1 series bodies, they are not that much wider/thicker - just mostly taller. You can imagine that my 500 F4 is MUCH larger than the 24-70 you are seeing.

Hi Mark, your second picture that 5D4 and 80D are they both with additional grip on? If no, that case sure do look shallow!!

I am considering one (probably 1535 Air case) with trekpak but just wondering if they can fit Canon 1D + 500mm without hood, another body and 2 lenses as minimum.

Thanks.

I would have bought a 1535 air if it had existed when I bought my 1510. Neither of the bodies have grips on them so you will have to take my word that the pro bodies fit. Both the 80D and 5D4 have additional foam under them to make it a "snug" fit against the divoted top foam that could be removed.

The 500 II hood is almost identical height to a 1DX and it is definitively "tight" but totally doable. A 1535 air reports an interior height of ~7.25" and my 1DX is approx 6.5" tall so you can see that there is definitely room for foam padding, just not a ton.

I would expect you could exactly duplicate the layout I have my 500 and replace both bodies with 1D bodies and it would work, just be a bit snugger. In my opinion, a snug fit is ideal for minimizing movement.
