I like it a lot. I was using my Sigma 30mm F1.4 Art for shots of people, but found that in order to capture a good head and shoulders portrait I had to be right up in their face. The 50-100mm solves that issue, and was the closest decently fast crop sensor lens I could find approximately equivalent to 70-200 on a full frame. I still have to calibrate the lens with the dock, but it doesn't seem to front or back focus too badly as I'm getting pretty good images straight from the mailbox.

You and me both! Bought a Canon T6S because I have always liked photography and got back into it when we bought a Canon P&S for work, and figured with such a wide ranging kit lens (18-135mm) I wouldn't need anything else!

Then I realized I wanted a fast prime, so bought the Yongnuo 50mm 1.8. Then I wanted something wider angle (Tokina 11-16mm). Then a better fast prime (Sigma 30mm Art). Then a real telephoto (Sigma 150-600mm C). Then a fast zoom (Sigma 50-100mm Art). My credit card can't take much more of this, and I'm holding out a while for the 80D since my T6S is still way more advanced than my skill. Doesn't stop me from looking at it daily though, along with the Sigma 18-35mm Art.

It's a slippery slope, Joe. Ask me to buy new socks or shoes, and it's like pulling teeth... see a new lens I may want, and my wallet practically opens itself.

How do you like the 70-200mm? Are you using it on a full frame body?

Last: Ricoh GR ii

Next: Wall charger since apparently Ricoh is too cheap to include it in the box. Charging a battery through the camera is so horrible.
