Has anyone here ever purchased it? Any thoughts on it? Look forward to responses.

As long as you've read the details and understand the restrictions...

You're basically paying almost $300 for 30 minutes sessions in 4 spots that get you above the fences. The flip side of that is you pay a lot less for a seat but then all of your pictures look the same and are through a fence.
You do not get access to trackside photo locations like the credentialed photographers and your shots will reflect this. You will get some good shots but understand that you are going to be looking down on the cars not at them through a photo hole in the fence. Also keep in mind that getting around from one spot to another is going to be time consuming - the place is going to be packed and movement difficult.
I guess the biggest drawback is that you don't get a grandstand seat so other than those 4 spots and whatever garage access you have you are going to have very limited views of the race from general admission areas. I'd ask them for more details about the amount of time you'll have in pit lane before spending the money because I'll bet it is very limited.
One last thing - don't head for the Turn 1 bridge for the start of the race as it will be packed with media photographers and you won't have much luck trying to shoot over or through them.

who gives a rat crap how much gear you can list?

I bought it a few years ago. I was happy with it overall, but it wasn't cheap (I think it was $250 back then). I certainly got photos which would've been impossible if I didn't have it.

Here are two shots I took:

I realize this is an old thread but for those wondering the same thing about this year's race (or subsequent), my thoughts - I've purchased the Super Photo Pass a couple of times, and I'd say that for just access to the special photo towers they have, it's not that great - shooting down at the cars coming towards you generally doesn't make for very compelling shots, though better than what you may be able to get with GA or grandstand tix - but what really made it worthwhile is that you also get access to the pits during the practice and qualifying sessions. For that alone, I would do it again.
