with the Tamron G2.
ISO 3200 not what I'd prefer but living in a rain forest it is the norm.
600mm I don't think too shabby for the TamG2, more light would have helped of course.

Flawless lighting. Most of these are for editorial use, right? Did your editors/publishers mention anything when you started sending full-res 5DsR files instead of the files from your previous body?

This particular shot was just a test shoot with an agency. I do love using this camera for beauty images though. The detail is nuts! :)

Gotcha! I just always wonder if folks really notice a quality shift when they receive 50mpix files vs older 20-25, haha.

I feel like I should be able to pull a bit more sharpness from the files in post, any suggestions on how you guys are doing it?

A foolproof method for sculpting an elephant: first, get a huge block of marble, then you chip away everything that doesn't look like an elephant.

love the colours! any special postprocessing to take away the canon "warmth" without making it look too cool?

Two more from this afternoon at the Alligator Farm. A tricolor and snowy heron. Glad I had my flash and better beamer.
Tough to shoot in high contrast light.

Oh well..
