The old Baily bridge left standing over La Taute at Carentan, Normandy. This bridge was built under shell fire by the US 300th Combat Engineer Battalion to replace a bridge destroyed by the retreating Germans. The bridge was named after Major John Tucker who was killed by enemy shellfire on the 27th of June, 1944.

The Depoe Bay Bridge is one of a series of significant bridges along the Oregon Coast Highway.

One of my favorite bridges to photograph is Kinzua Bridge in northern Pennsylvania. It is really unique because it is a high locomotive bridge that was partially destroyed by a tornado, and remains of the bridge lie in the valley between the ends of the bridge that still remain. This is part of Kinzua Bridge State Park. On my site I have more photos and a description of the area with tips for anyone who wants to visit and photograph the bridge https://loadedlandscapes.com/kinzua-bridge-state-park/ (external link)
