If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Next: nothing. :) :) :) :) :) :)

If you really do THINK you mean 'nothing', you have gone insane. Please seek help.
If you really DO mean nothing, there is no hope for you, it is too late.

G.A.S. FOREVER!!!!!! :) :)

Just typing this has instilled a huge desire to peruse the 'sale' threads for a 1DX!

Tom was right... I fell off the wagon, again.

Last: 100-400 II

Next: could be nothing, could be something, could be anything. Outlook hazy.

Kim, you gotta live in the moment and enjoy that 70-200 II.

Yet, I'm not in anyway trying to fuel GAS, but in looking at your sig, I see that there's a nice opening for a 35 or 50mm prime. Just sayin... :-D

I picked up a 50 f/1.8 STM when I got the 70-200... forgot to add it. ;)

I had a 35 f/2 IS for a while. I sold it to fund the 1D IV along with all my EF-S lenses... couldn't seem to fall in love with the focal length. I probably didn't give it enough time to grow on me. I might add one later one.... you never know.

Last: Canon EF-M 28mm Macro for my M3. Bought the M3 as an everyday carry instead of lugging my 7D2 and all my lenses, so far has worked out great so wanted to add some macro capability so I could take better photos of our company's 3D prints.

Next: Probably the new Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 Art if the price is right.

Next: hmmm... maybe a Canon 100-400?

Picked up a 2nd 7D2 so that I can carry 2 bodies with me in the field while birding.

Next? Not sure - I don't really have anything pressing to get. I would like to get a portrait lens at some point, maybe a 85/1.2? Not sure which one.

Last: Peak Designs SL2 strap for two cameras, Lens Coat for the 400 DO II, and extra SanDisk Extreme Micro SD card for the 80D.

Next: trip to Glacier National Park, so I can put this stuff to better use.

Any gear purchased now is support type stuff, but I'm hoping that the next big purchases will be experiences.

Nice move on the extra body, it really makes a big difference. Throw the 100-400 on one body, and a wide prime on the other. Nothing you can't shoot.
