A Portrait - Topmejse - (Lophophanes cristatus) - European Crested Tit is a rather common bird in Denmark and this shot was taken (and cropped to/over the limit) while testing 5DsR....

Ha! Made me spit my morning coffee on the screen! I've used that exact term (perhaps slightly embellished) as the blue bugger in question paused just shy of the time my lens took to lock focus.
There's been a downtick of shots from me on the forum lately, as I've been trying to take a page from Pondrader's book and get the critturs accustomed to me being out in view of the feeders. I'm not even going to attempt the "come to my hand, little friend" thing...just getting them comfortable with me being outside.
It's a slow process but seems to be starting to work.

Its a big book filled with incoherent babble. Just sayin

Color me jealous--of a wonderful capture and just getting to see these. We
only get Ruby-throated here.

Sometimes you just have to grab them for a little talk.
Now you hold still a second so I can take your picture.
