X100, X100s, X100T photos

Is there a way to turn of the pre exposure feat in the X100F EVF (like the Live View Display Setting On/Off in Sony cameras)? I'd like to use the EVF when shooting with OCF. But the experience is not much fun if you can't see anything but dark through your EVF.

I don't have my x100t in front of me, but it is in one of the menus, see below

Has anyone connected an X100 series to an external battery in bag to keep it charged while walking around? I wasn't paying attention and let battery run down and by the time I had swapped out battery the lighting had changed. I've got a 26000 external battery that I used to keep iphone and ipad charged. Was wondering if I put LONG usb cable if it would keep camera topped of and I wounldn't have to to worry as much about battery like.

I've been shooting jpeg with my X100t for the past week just to give it a try and I really like it! I've noticed that I usually like the film simulations from the camera more than I like the raw files with the film simulation applied in Lightroom. It's also nice to be able to transfer the file to my phone and share it right away.

Got the telephoto and wide lens adapters for my upcoming trip. I'm in love with the telephoto. The build quality on both of them is really on point.

so, what better way to test your ability with a new camera than to go to the BMX track ? 1/10s was as good as it got..

nice job on bmx shots, pretty tough to follow that sport with a fixed lens camera, on a side note how do u like the 9-18 on your em1, i am looking at that lens for my em1 m2

Thanks, I actually found it easier to pan with the fixed lens and the nd filter which surprised me as I was expecting it to be a nightmare.

The 9-18 is a great lens, it's tiny and is plenty sharp enough ( not pro lens sharp but it's no where near their size either ). I sold a couple of lenses to get the x100t but decided the 9-18 should stay for its landscape ability
