Not one of my better shots I admit, took on my way to work and possibly would have benefited from more time to explore some different vantage points

Oh well, some you win………

Sorry I haven't been posting. I hit a dry spell, then was out of town on a MiIssion trip with the Church for several days. I am going to try and restart, but here is one I really liked I took on the trip.

Lots of jobs on today after work, including erecting a new house ;-)a
I suppose inevitably there will be a few 'space fillers' throughout a full 365 project

#$&%, %*#@, double %*#@ (expletives removed to protect the innocent :p )

Left camera overnight in boot/trunk of car

"So whats the problem" I hear you say
We've swapped cars, she gone to work !!!!!!

Had to go uber-retro with a 14yr old, 6mp, Canon 300D and even older lens

Got a nail in the car tyre yesterday, so while it was in getting replaced this morning I had a quick walk around some nearby wasteland
Years ago this was a huge factory complex which got demolished and left to fester, alas as many other similar areas it has become a dumping ground for those kind of people who take no pride in where they live vmad

March 18th - Dumping Ground !!!

Having to fall back on using an old bit of kit can be a bit .......frustrating.
You rose to the challenge and produced a bit of art!

Agreed, you did well. I still have a 350D in the camera bag, I still use it once in a while.

Anyway, yesterday - dance show. Boy, the sheer amount of work, skill, energy, everything that these kids have puts me to shame.

I admit I had completely forgot how pedestrian it was
Press the play button and stare at 'busy' on the tiny screen for what felt like an age lol

The 20D I bought 9 months later and hammered for the next 12 years was a revelation, was still my regular workhorse till late last year

Air Spirit - a statue which I came across while doing the Alloa Half Marathon today.

I would only point out that this is well into the route, and he is clearly showing signs of pain in the legs. Just sayin'

Similar style as The Kelpies, same artist perhaps ?

And what sort of size is this, I soooo want you to say huge, especially with the pylons at the back lol
