I started shooting it just as I did my 600D and my initial results were not as good as the 600. My pictures were usually much darker given the settings that I was using which were very much like what I was using with the 600. This was exacerbated if I was outside in bright sun and it was worse if I was dealing with a sun/ shade situation.
I found the same with my first shoot today. It was a bright day and I took some shots of a highway bridge over an estuary...............identical shots to those that I had taken previously with both the 7dmkll and a 5D3, which were fine. With the 6D, using the Tokina ATX 11-16 and Canon 24-105 I found the highlights/clouds were more blown whilst at the same time the underneath of the bridge (shadows) were more filled and the pillars had severe purple fringing on one side and green fringing on the opposite side when I tried to recover the shadows. I couldn't recover either to get a usable pic but as I haven't used either lens in a long while, I won't jump to any conclusion on the camera yet.
