Is it a sunset pic or a bridge pic. Both. It is the Second Severn Crossing Bridge. Only the central section is suspended. This is the elevated section on the East side of the river. I was stood in a place called Old Passage where the oldest ferry used to cross the river. It is also close to the First Severn Crossing Bridge. Taken when I was getting used to my new Tamron.

Guessed so. I have done similar. Looking at the tower of Big Ben at the end of a wing tip for a few minutes was amusing at first. :D

:-P These days I pre-book an aisle seat every time; more comfy.

I'm leaning towards the colour version, especially the blossoms on the right make it more lively. The small twigs partly covering the bridge are difficult in both versions. Perhaps I'd also counteract the fade in the top third by post-processing.

thank you for that input.
I have added a gradient mask to darken the top third a bit. Does this look better?

The Wallace River Swing Bridge. The circular column to the right end used to allow the bridge to swing away so tall masted schooners could pass under up the Wallace River in Nova Scotia, Canada, to pick up sandstone from a local quarry. The tracks have been removed and the railbed is now part of the Trans Canada Trail for hiking, ATVs and snowmobiles. This is a 6 shot vertically shot pano.
