Did you take the boat trip out into the Kenai Fjords? Love that spot!!!! Have been several times.

Yes. A small boat with about 15 or so people on board. Although I lived in Fairbanks from 1965-1971 and frequently visited Anchorage, I had never been to the Kenai Peninsula before so this trip - in 2007 - was a treat. There was plenty of other wildlife and I even got humpbacks breaching.
