Was out looking for short eared owls, but although they had been seen earlier, they weren't showing while I was there. But on the way back to the carpark I got these shots of a kestrel.

Beautiful shots Rebecca. This is one of the better looking falcons I think, and tough to get good shots of. Nice work!

Very nice.
#1 seems to have lines on it which I do not think are just the reeds. I used to get this when I used a filter on my Canon 100-400mm. My 2p worth
