Which version is best, I really can't decide.......

I like the one with the seaweed, at the time I thought it anchored the foreground and gave a lead in along the same geometry of the groyne, but in hindsight I like the cleaner foreground without it, but, it feels wrong not having anything in the foreground. I think I prefer without, but, I'm not comfortable with the reason why as it's breaking with a classic composition. Decisions decisions.....

Me personal. I think the second is better. The seaweed actually draws my attention instead of anything else. The shape is also odd , if the object had distinct lines, like the many in the rest of the photo it could be interesting. Now it gets my first and most attention because of the contrast and shape.


Eos M, 5DII, and some lenses.
